FP&A Director

Overview:

Becksford Group are proud to be partnering with a growth technology business in London to appoint a FP&A Director to manage all aspects of planning, ownership for budgeting, forecasting and the 3 year business plan.

The Role:

Based in London reporting to the Finance Director, this role will work closely with the executive team on two tasks; increasing visibility/accountability of business performance and improving both the budgeting and forecasting process. The role will be heavily involved in creating the 3-year forecasts, so someone highly analytical, confident with large data sets and with exposure to detailed modelling would be a great fit.

Alongside the core responsibility, we expect this candidate to embrace new technology and systems, bringing some fresh ideas on automation techniques and suitable tools the business can adopt to ensure that processes are in place to cope with future growth.

This person will also manage the Finance Business Partnering team.

The Person:

The successful FP&A Director must have worked for a technology-driven business before, ideally with some knowledge of the FS or FinTech sector, and meet the following criteria:

  • Qualified Accountant - ACA or CIMA preferred

  • Previous experience managing a FP&A function

  • Experience working in financial services, FinTech or a SaaS business

  • ‘Best practice’ knowledge of business planning, budgeting, and forecasting

  • Exposure to producing detailed financial models and business plans

  • Comfortable supporting fundraising and IR

  • Good communication skills – ability to Business Partner

The Business:

Located in London, my client is expanding rapidly and embracing the journey. Pioneers of the FinTech sector, they offer a global product and are backed by leading investors. The culture is collaborative, energetic and decisive.

The Salary:

£75,000-£95,000 + Bonus + Benefits
