Sales Manager - DACH region
Becksford Group have partnered with a well-funded and ambitious enterprise B2B technology software provider to hire a Sales Manager to grow their DACH region.
The Role:
The role is one of the first into a newly formed European sales team, selling a variety of high-ticket technology products that sit within my client’s portfolio.
The Sales Manager must be a ‘hunter’ with a proven track in enterprise pipeline building and can evidence working with large global businesses (think FTSE 500). Our client has spent €3.5mill on marketing demand generation so whilst you will be tasked with generating new business, the marketing spend will help increase your visibility and accuracy.
Role responsibilities:
Pipeline building for high-value enterprise customers in the DACH region
Qualifying leads and conducting research for target prospects
Develop and maintain relationships with key account stakeholders
Manage initial presentation process and handover to external sales team for delivery
Build and maintain client CRM data (Salesforce)
The Person:
The successful Sales Manager will have a proven track record generating new business in enterprise sales. Our client has a complex product portfolio so someone with strong business acumen will be more comfortable explaining their proposition.
Fluent German and English speaker (other languages advantageous)
5+ years B2B sales experience
3+ years B2B enterprise technology sales experience
Proven track record of pipeline building and new business generation targeting c-suite
Proven history of lead development
Ambitious – ability to fast track career if successful in role (promotion possible in 12 months)
The Business:
My client is a digital transformation ‘enabler’, offering a data-led software solution that leads to digital transformation for large (think £1bill+ revenue), global customers.
This is a new product with a team launched 6 months ago to penetrate the US market, with the European team now being built underneath a very competent European Sales Director. The revenue targets for Europe are 30% of overall sales.
The Package:
€55,000 - €65,000 + uncapped commission
€100,000 realistic OTE Yr1
